Description

Onam inspired skirt and top collection featuring kerala handloom fabric, kasavu tones, magenta borders and a contemporary silhouette. The dress features a soft ivory base with delicate all-over golden woven motifs, giving the fabric a subtle festive texture without overpowering the silhouette. The bodice is designed with a clean, sleeveless round neckline, flowing seamlessly into a beautifully flared skirt and top. The key design element is the maroon vertical panel detailing running from the shoulder through the length of the dress. These panels are highlighted with fine golden detailing, creating strong vertical lines that elongate the silhouette while adding a distinctive festive character. The upper dress is layered over a full, softly gathered/flared lower skirt, creating beautiful volume and movement. The skirt is finished with a statement maroon hem border decorated with small golden motifs, separated from the ivory body by a narrow golden band.
